I recently worked on a project where I needed to upload many folders of images to SmugMug. Rather than manually create each folder and wait for the several hundred imaged to upload I tried out SnugUp. It is extremely easy to use and will sync any folder you target to the SmugMug folder you specify. I was able to easily upload the several thousand images in the proper folders in one shot. Great tool.

If you have ever forgotten or needed to unlock an Excel document but forgot the password, here is an easy fix.
Straxx has provided a simple plugin that will run a VBA script that will crack and remove the password from any protected sheet or workbook. Just download the add-in, open it, then open your excel file and look under the Add-Ins tab for options to unprotect the sheet or workbook.

I was recently looking for a quick and easy way to batch resize images to prep for web uploads. Photoshop is just way too clunky for the job so I looked around am came to FastStone Photo Resizer. I wanted something light and non-spammy and the fact that FastStone even has a portable version is perfect.
Check out the promo below, I highly recommend this.
If you use a lot of wsywig editors you need to check out PureText. It is a Windows application that lets you quickly paste text without formatting. Check it out at http://stevemiller.net/puretext/.
Once setup all you do is hit “Windows Key + V” and it will paste your unformatted text. This is HUGE for all the Sharepoint users.
Here is a cool extension for Chrome. It will essentially “pause” tabs that you arenot using. You can manually freeze a tab or set a time period that will make unused tabs auto freeze to take up less memory and resources for tabs you are not using.
Unload, park, suspend tabs to reduce memory footprint of chrome.
TO FIX THE MISSING ICONS PROBLEM:
Navigate to the extension directory
Open the popup.css file and under body change:
I just read a great tip that will speed up a TON of time for me. I often have to “clean” text by pasting it into notepad to remove all formatting before pasting into a WYSIWYG web editor. After running this tiny .exe I can do a “clean paste” by pressing “Windows key + V”. Easy!
I just came across a great new app, the Windows 7 USB/DVD Download Tool. It is flawlessly simple and allows you to turn a Windows 7 .iso file into a bootable flash drive. If you are in need of a way to easily install Windows 7 on a netbook or just want faster speed then be sure to try this out.
